The Throne of the Tides is a dungeon located in the Abyssal Depths in Vashj'ir, and part of the Cataclysm expansion. The entrance is reached via the Abyssal Breach, a whirlpool found in the North-East corner of the Abyssal Depths. To use the whirlpool, the player must swim to NEAR the middle but not quite into it, and wait for it to drag the player into it and port them to the instance entrance; luckily, this is no longer needed to queue for this dungeon.

Queuing for the Throne of the Tides through the Dungeon Finder requires an average item level of 226.
