Parry-Haste

From Twilight Wiki

Parry-Haste is a concept from Original WoW, Burning Crusade and portions of Wrath of the Lich King expansions.

The concept is the way the Parry mechanic worked with players and bosses, if you parried an attack, the swing timer, or time it takes you or the boss that is hitting you to swing again is reduced.

This was a big issue in Original WoW and Burning Crusade, mainly on Warrior Tanks because of how Crushing Blows were handled. If a Warrior parried too often on boss fights while tanking they could be hit by a boss so fast as to make it impossible for healers to keep them alive resulting in an "instagib" death.

This issue has been removed from the game in Cataclysm. Parried attacks no longer reduce the swing timer of the next attack.
