Strategy
10-man
In order to bring Argaloth down on 10-man, the raid will need to consist of two tanks, two healers, and six DPS. The raid will then need to split into two groups, one on either side of the boss, with everyone in that group piling on the tank. The reason for this is Argaloth's Meteor Slash. The 200,000 damage is split between every person in that group, bringing it down to more healable levels. Tanks must take turns taunting the boss after each Meteor Slash, as it leaves a debuff increasing fire damage taken.
Throughout the fight, Argaloth will infect several raid members with Consuming Darkness, which should be dispelled immediately by anyone able to dispel magic. If it is not dispelled, the damage will increase until the affected person dies.
At 66% and 33%, Argaloth will begin casting Fel Firestorm, raining fireballs down on the raid that leave patches of fire in their wake. Stay out of them. They will hurt you. As soon as Argaloth finishes channeling his firestorm, the patches of fire will disappear, so the raid needs to be back in their tank groups by that time.
IMPORTANT: This boss has 21 million health on a five-minute enrage timer. As in any raid, everyone in the raid should be prepared with flasks, potions, and food to help maximize their performance.
25-man
The 25-man version of Argaloth is identical in strategy to the 10-man version, the numbers are just higher. Argaloth has significantly more health, and Meteor Slash will deal 750,000 damage instead of 200,000. In order to maximize DPS output and bring the boss down, it is recommended that the raid consist of two tanks, five healers, and 18 DPS in the same configuration as before, with half the raid grouped on one tank and the other half grouped on the other.
